Welcome to the 2022 High School Research Internship Program Application!
Applications are open from November 16, 2021 - March 4, 2022 (deadline has been extended from February 4th)
BTI High School Research Experience is open to current high school students over the age of 16 who are available June 28 - August 5 (Monday through Friday) full-time. Selected students will receive an educational stipend of $3,000 for the 6 week program. Housing and meal stipends are not included.
Due to the pandemic, only students who live in the Ithaca region and surrounding counties will be considered for the program and eligible to apply. Selected student cannot be graduating seniors and must be 16 years or older by June 28th to be eligible.

For your application to be considered applicants must:
-Complete and sign the application form
-Include a 700 word (or less) essay explaining your interest in the research experience and potential career and educational aspirations
-Include a copy of your current (unofficial) transcript
-Share two references (name, phone, and email) who can speak to your interests and background
-Optional: Upload a copy of your resume
Selected students will be required to be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 before June 28, or obtain a university-approved medical or religious exemption.
